Special Spring Aerial “Homestead” HeliPhoto Shoot

Soon Dale Fisher, ‘the Flying Photographer’ will be flying around the area capturing the unique colors and springtime beauty in aerial photographs. Dale tells me that Spring is a special time of year to take aerial photographs. The short-lived colors and blossoms are stunning. Because the leaves are not yet in full bloom, it enables an excellent view of the subject, building and property. Helicopter photography gives a distinctive perspective unmatched by photographs taken by airplanes, by drones or on the ground. This flight plan is unlike any that Dale has ever done before. The current flight plan includes more […]

Contact us ASAP if you wish to have your location photographed from the air. AND be sure to be watching for the AMAIZ-ING photographs which will be available for purchase. Please share…

Fall HeliPhoto Shoot Saturday!

What better way to capture the University of Michigan’s Homecoming game than from the open door of a helicopter. The University of Michigan’s Campus, Hospital and Stadium look even more beautiful nestled amongst Fall’s colorful trees. The more Autumn’s brilliant colors bloom, the more Dale yearns to be in the air. Doing what he loves,… making art from the air. I am looking forward to flying the entire county [and beyond] appreciating and capturing fall’s spectacular colors with Dale. Many of these photographs will appear in our upcoming book, “Washtenaw County: Visions of the Eagle.” We are finalizing our flight plans, please contact us […]

Military Appreciation Game Day Photographs

Game Day in Ann Arbor is always an adventure! Dale & I left the house at 9AM. It rained on the way to the stadium. Dale dropped me at Michigan Stadium to get checked-in and drove to the Ann Arbor Airport where he waited until a little before the pre-game show to get in the air. I always enjoy watching fans capture the moment in pictures – making memories and I enjoy photographing them as well. I was planning on photographing the pre-game show from the scoreboard, but didn’t want to get the cameras wet, so I went to the […]

2016 Michigan vs Hawaii Game Day Photographs

110,222 Wolverine fans came out to kick-off the football season on August 3, 2016. The very sunny and very warm day caused no challenges to the Wolverines as they defeated the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors 63 – 3. You can feel the excitement in the air. Game day is like a ritual in Ann Arbor and for us. We never seem to get there early enough to get more pre-game antics. As we were checking in, we met a man who asked us to photograph the “Signer” of the National Anthem, and I managed to catch the flyover. (Probably my best photograph of […]

Dexter Daze filled with fun & photographs

Dale has been very busy this weekend photographing events communities in Washtenaw Community for our upcoming book, “Washtenaw County: Visions of the Eagle,” scheduled for distribution December 2017. These photographs will be available for purchase on our website soon.

Detroit from the air in the Summer

Saturday, August 6, 2016 we flew for two hours from Lake Orion to the Detroit River for a couple of our clients which included an excavating company and an architectural firm. We saw and photographed a lot of construction. Residential, commercial and road construction was everywhere! I understand a little more why traffic is so congested and why there are so many accidents. It is refreshing to see so much growth in Detroit. The new home of the Detroit Red Wings – The Little Caesars Arena is progressing nicely. Ford Field’s new roof is completed and impressive. Although there […]

Soldier’s Cross Photograph Presented to Grass Lake Village Council

Local photographer, Dale Fisher presents Joe Deboe, Village Council President with a photograph of the Soldier’s Cross which he took at the 2016 Memorial Day Remembrance.  Installed by Grass Lake Veterans from American Legion Post 252  and VFW Post 10194, The Soldier’s Cross, or Battlefield Cross is a visible reminder of the fallen soldier. The helmet and identification tags signify the fallen soldier, their names never to be forgotten. The inverted rifle with bayonet signals a time for prayer, a break in the action to pay tribute to our friend. The combat boots, worn and dirty, represents the final march of the soldier’s […]
